Unlicensed Herbal Products

Following the implementation of the Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive (THMPD) on April 30th 2011 we are no longer permitted to sell unlicensed herbal products to the general public without consultation with our herbalist. In other words, if you wish to purchase products that have been hitherto freely available, you will only be able to get them on prescription from us or from another qualified herbalist.

This section of our website will give you an indication of some of the many unlicensed herbal medicines that will still be available to you, provided you have a consultation and register with us as a patient, and provided that the products you are interested in are deemed suitable for your individual needs. We can no longer make many of these products available online to the general public, but once you have had your consultation you will be given a login and a password, and will be able to access your own private account on the website, and purchase products that have been deemed suitable for you. In the meantime you can, of course, access them at our Bristol shop.

This facility will be available shortly - just as soon as we have worked out how to do it!

Dried Herbs

Our dried herbs are sourced locally wherever possible. We grow a small amount of our own in Bristol, and support several growers within a 30 mile radius. We are always interested to hear from people in the area who can supply us with wild or cultivated herbs. What we can't source locally we buy in from mainly European wholesalers, and do our best to ensure the quality and sustainability of what we use. Oils and Creams

Our range of creams are made from very high quality aromatic waters, vegetable oils, macerated oils, essential oils and herbal percolates decoctions and infusions. Our oils are cold pressed and sourced from carefully selected producers to ensure top quality and effectiveness.  view products>>

Tinctures

We make most of our own tinctures from the best herbs that we can get. These include, wherever possible, herbs that we grow ourselves or source from local growers. This way we can control the quality and be sure that our dispensary is up to the job.   view products>>
